Passionate about promoting and educating the world about Asian Cosmetics and Skincare, he offers the latest news on Korean & Asian cosmetic products, trends, and brands as well as in-depth reviews on cosmetic products. He is also an official blogger selected by the Korean Ministry Of Culture, Sports & Tourism. Although a male beauty blogger, Jonathan doesn’t offer cosmetic & beauty from a male’s perspective, but from a consumer’s perspective. He was raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently resides in Paris, France. Having completed his BSc in Chemistry at the University Of Pierre & Marie Curie Paris 6, he will be starting his MSc In Luxury Management & Marketing. His goal ? Jonathan’s message
Despite being a male in the dominant female beauty & cosmetic world, I do feel that beauty doesn’t recognize gender : The skin is our largest organ whether we are male or female and everyone wants to look good! What i bring to the table is not from a male’s perspective but from a consumer’s perspective. Is the cream worth the price? What are the ingredients used in a product ? Is this brand really value for money? These are the questions that a consumer often poses before purchasing a cosmetic product – and that that is what i hope to answer and to give you some insights before deciding to purchase a product or not.
The cosmetics industry has long been dominated by western companies, and i do believe that this is Asia’s time to shine. In hoping that Wishtrend will slowly grow to be Asia’s biggest online retail cosmetic site, which will hopefully not only be selling Korean cosmetic brands, but every other Asian cosmetic brands – i will be here in charge of introducing these brands and products to beauty enthusiastics.
